Children may return to school when they have not had a temperature or vomited in the last 24 hours. Please do not send your child when they have had a temperature or vomited within the last 24 hours. They need to rest and recover, which also prevents infecting the entire class. District policy requires that all medications, prescription or over the counter medicine, be kept in the office. We are not allowed to dispense without a written, signed, and dated note from the parent/guardian. If you would like us to keep Tylenol on hand for your child, please contact the office for the needed form that must be completed and returned with your supply of Tylenol. All medications, prescription or over the counter, must be in the original container. Loose pills in "baggies" or envelopes are not allowed and will be disposed of. Inhalers for asthma must have the prescription label on them. If you send liquid medicine with your child please be sure to send a spoon or medicine dispenser as we do not keep those on hand. Parents are requested to bring all medications into the office and not send with your child. |
